ASST. Manager Logistics (Sales & Pricing)

Description :

• Strategically plan and manage complete logistics activities end to end (export/import shipments). Arrive at the logical framework for logistics management based on the business need. To ensure the maximization of sales and profitability while adhering to the pricing policy is followed to maximize sales and profitability.

Roles & responsibilities :

• Creating schedules and ensuring way plans are all running out smoothly

• Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make the most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.

• Required good experience in coordination with freight forwarders & shipping lines in regard to price negotiation.

• Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability

• Expertise in price and terms negotiations with all the logistics vendors.

• Complete end-to-end knowledge of Freight forwarder activities, CHA and customs procedure.

• Ensure shipping documents are properly filed

• Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

•  Arrange warehouse, plan routes and process shipment.

• Resolve any arising problems or complaints

• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

• Interpersonal skills – the ability to work well in a team, as well as to manage and motivate others

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to plan in advance and deal with unexpected changes.

• High level of integrity while dealing with vendors

• Taking initiative on new ideas in terms of company business growth
